The Migraine that Gave Me Life.
I was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio and attended the Pentecostal Church of God. I was even in the youth group with most of my family. I was more interested in having fun than learning about God at that time.

My mom never really wanted me, she divorced my dad and went out all the time and when she was home she spent the time with my sister, but none with me. Due to the issues with my mom I left and moved to Florida to live with my dad.
​
After I moved to Florida and had been working at a steady job, I wanted to settle down and I got married. I thought I was doing pretty good and then the headache from hell hit! It never left and that was in 2011. I still have it and the headache was not all that gave me a hard time, my wife did not believe me. She never went to my doctor’s appointments and even after getting out of the hospital for a lumbar puncture, she asked, “Why aren’t you at work?”
All she wanted was what I could give her, money for a place to live. When that was suffering due to the headaches and missed days of work she left. She took everything and even left my car on the side of the road. I had no choice but to move back in with my dad.

The doctors could not find out why I was having these 24/7 migraines, even after test after test. They diagnosed me with a headache disorder called, NDPH. It is New Daily Persistent Headaches with chronic migraines. This redefined my life altogether.

I turned atheist as a result, but God had other plans and was not through with me. After many signs and a sit down with my ninety-year-old grandma, God found me. He has changed my life and led me to write about my testimony called, My Pathway to Jesus Christ.
​
Now, through all of this, I have learned to use my condition to inspire others with disabilities that they can live a productive life and serve God. God has taught me to use my disability to help others and show them they can live a life with meaning.
The best part of all, he brought me the love of my life and we now minister together as authors, speakers and podcast show hosts.
