Do You Believe?

"For we who have believed, do enter that rest." (Hebrews 4:3)

There is a rest, a peace that you have in your spirit when you believe first of all in Jesus Christ. "Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." (John 14:6)

Jesus is the one who died for our sins, and by believing, repenting, and receiving Him, you are forgiven of your sins, made righteous through His shed blood on the cross, and have a promised home in heaven when you leave this earth.

"That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:9-10)

"Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him." (Romans 5:9)

"For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him." (II Corinthians 5:21)

There is no other way to heaven, except through Him, and when you have made Him Lord of your life, you have a rest, and a confidence of your eternal home, but not only that, you have a rest in your spirit that He is for you, and will be there for you.

You have a rest that you will be cared for, protected, loved unconditionally, forgiven, comforted, healed, prayers answered, and so much more!

"Have I not commanded you to be strong and courageous? Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9)

The LORD Himself goes before you; He will be with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid or discouraged.” (Deuteronomy 31:9)

Do you believe in His promises when you pray? Do you pray in faith, or in desperation?

The word says for us to come boldly to the throne of God.

"Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need." (Hebrews 4:16)

The Lord, as said in the Bible, "Lives to intercede" for us. He was beaten beyond human recognition, skin torn, blood running down His whole body, carrying an over 200-pound cross up the hill to Golgotha, to His own death sentence, one that should have been ours. "Greater love has no man than this, that lay down his life for his friends." (John 15:13)

That is love and there is never a reason to doubt His love for you, nor His desire to care, provide, and intercede on your behalf.

Believe in Him for salvation, then believe in Him to care for you, answer your prayers, protect and intercede for you, and enter His rest, receive His peace in knowing that He will always have your back, and never leave you nor forsake you.

"You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You." (Isaiah 26:3)
