From Spirit to Sight: The Journey of Faith

Faith Sees in the Spirit First, Then It Manifests in the Natural!

Have you been waiting for an answered prayer or healing and still have not received it?

First

(Matthew 6:10)

“Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”

If you are expecting to see evidence first, you will wait a long time.  Faith is spirit, and it comes from God. (Hebrews 11:6) “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”

Faith is Spirit, comes from God, to receive, you must believe first.

(Romans 10:17)

“So, then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

(John 6:63)

“It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.”

Second

There may be several reasons

1.  You are looking for evidence in the natural first before you believe. So, stop looking to the natural to believe what comes from the Spirit, the Spirit of the Lord.

(I Corinthians 2:14)

“But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”

(II Corinthians 4:18)

“while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.”

Faith is spirit, and you must believe first, then it manifests.

(II Corinthians 4:13)

“And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed, and therefore I spoke,' we also believe and therefore speak.”

(Hebrews 11:1)

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

2.       God’s timing. In answering prayers, especially if it involves others, you must account for free will.  He will NOT usurp the free will of others. It will still happen, but it will not be like popping something in the microwave for 2 minutes and expecting it to be answered.  Not only that, but God also says in Ephesians 3:20, He will do it better than we can ask or imagine.  He may have a better way, and He knows the end from the beginning, so He knows the right time to answer it.  This is much like a cake in the oven; take it out too soon, and it falls.  So, give Him time.

Third

Believe it!   What you are asking for, you must believe it, and see it in the spirit first, then it will manifest in God’s right time!

(Hebrews 12:2)

“Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

( Mark 5:34)

“And He said to her, 'Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.”

The blind man Jesus healed, whom He spat on the man’s eyes; the man saw people walking as trees first, then Jesus touched his eyes again, and he could see clearly.  It was a process. He came from Bethsaida, who, if you remember, Jesus condemned for their lack of faith.  Their lack of faith rubbed off, and it was a process to get the man to believe.  Jesus had to take him outside the town.  If you are suffering faith issues, read the gospels and see where it says, He healed all who came to Him.  You  ARE PART OF ALL!!

(Proverbs 23:7)

“For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. “Eat and drink!” he says to you, but his heart is not with you.”

(Matthew 8:16)

“When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick.”

Stay in the Word, spend time with the Lord.  The more time you spend with Him, the more your faith will grow.

Jesus promised, and His death on the cross is proof enough of His overwhelming, unconditional, never-ending love for us.  YOU CAN TRUST HIM. PRAY, BELIEVE, AND WAIT FOR IT TO MANIFEST!

 (Mark 11:24)

“Therefore, I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”
